The Firm has significant experience and knowledge in the area of Community Association Law, including condominium associations, cooperative associations and homeowner’s associations. We provide representation and advice regarding the application of state and local rules and regulations to community associations, annual and special meetings of the board and unit owners/members, drafting or amending the association’s governing documents, election procedures, levying of special assessments, budgets and appropriation of funds, maintenance, alteration and repair of common areas, enforcement of covenants and restrictions, recordation of liens for defaulting unit owners/members, construction issues with architectural review committees, issues concerning right of approval and right of first refusal, and alternative dispute resolution with the Florida Division of Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes.
